UOI – Look at my Me Doll!

To support their current UOI under the central idea ‘Recognizing our uniqueness can help us to better understand who we are’, Nursery students learned to identify the differences between a boy and a girl, such as: the physical appearance, or the clothes and accessories that they wear, etc. They developed their knowledge of self-awareness and personal characteristics as well. They were able to identify that usually a boy has short hair, wears pants, and doesn’t wear any hair accessories; whereas a girl usually has long hair, wears skirt or dress, and often wears accessories such as hat, jewelries, hair clip, etc. To build their understanding, they dressed up class mannequin to make their own me doll.
