Let’s classify animals and plants!

           On Monday 22nd of January 2018, Toddler Students had an engaging activity which is related to their Unit of Inquiry Sharing the Planet. We brought some small trees and flowers and also some animals that the school has such as turtle, rabbit, bird and fish to the classroom. The teacher asked the students to classify the object into the animals and plants. Surprisingly, some of them were able to do it and when we asked the reason, some of them answered it with various kinds of reasons. Here is a little result of our discussion?

T: why do you put this tree in this area? (Plants area)

S: ada bunga-bunganya sama daunnya.

T: why do you put the birds in this area? (Animals area)

S: soalnya bergerak.
