Nursery students learnt to identify situation and condition of surroundings during rainy day. Through this learning activity, they should be able to recognize people’s responses towards themselves by wearing appropriate outfit and equipment such as raincoat, rubber boots or sandals, and umbrella to stay dry when going outside. Besides that, they should be able to identify people’s responses towards the environment. Since it is cold, sometimes people drink hot chocolate or wear sweater to stay warm. Moreover, they develop their research skills as they observe what rainy day looks, feels, and sounds like. Some of them said that when it is rainy we can’t go play in playground because the slides are wet and we can get sick when we get wet.
