Grade 6 Lunar New Year Celebration

Grade 6 students got to experience Lunar New Year this year packed with Lions Dance, Class Decoration, and Lunar New Year Card making. The celebration was held on February 15, 2018. On the day of the celebration, students and teachers came to school wearing their Chinese traditional costume or red clothing.

The students were so enthusiastic to decorate classroom. They prepared the ornaments one day before. The highlight was of course, the lion dance, a performance that students always look forward to. The sight of the three lions displaying their acrobatic moves against the energetic rhythms of the drums definitely excited the audience. The celebration shone light on the pride of their family traditions, bonding them even more closely to the school. Once again, Happy Lunar New Year, year of the dog.
