Merdeka!!!

August is such a festive month for Indonesia since in this month we celebrate our independence day which happens on August 17th, where you can see the national flag color, red and white as the decoration theme in everywhere.

This year, Nursery students celebrated the independence day on Monday August 20th, 2018. Two combined classes were singing Hari Merdeka song in front of the red-and-white flag. Then, to show the spirit and joy of this very special day they participated in some individual and group activities such as tug of war, marble and ball race.

Through these activities, they developed both their fine and gross motor skills, the manipulation and coordination skills within team or as individuals, not to mention having fun together with their peers.
