This week, grade 2 students are learning about multiplication. After reviewing the concept of multiplication, students try to do multiplication problems using repeated addition strategies. Then, they also need to commit the multiplication tables into memory. In grade 2, students are going to commit into memory the multiplication of table 2 and 5 only. One of the strategies is by creating multiplication cards and play guessing with a partner. Students create multiplication of table 2 and 5 on one side of the card and write the answer on the other side of the card. Afterward, they are going to ask and answer the question with a partner.
