One of the annual events of Sekolah Victory Plus is Literacy Expo. During this event, there are some activities done in the classroom and one of them is storytelling. Storytelling has  a strong connection to literacy because it creates a love of language and motivation to read. Meanwhile, the benefits from storytelling are improving  listening skills, vocabulary, comprehension and sequencing . Besides that storytelling encourages creative writing, creative thinking and problem solving.

Toddler students had a storytelling session on 17th of October 2018. The tittle of the book was ‘Hansel and Gretel’. After the storytelling the students had a collage activity. The students pasted the picture of a house and the ornament provided. They really showed their enthusiasm when they were doing it. So well done toddlers.
