How We Express Ourselves, with the central idea: Photography captures what is significant to individual and society is our current Unit of Inquiry.

This unit is talking about the purpose of photography, how to capture the images and interpreting messages from photography.

For the tuning in activity the teachers are setting up a photography gallery booth outside of the classroom and the students are asked to do gallery walk and choose one photo that interest them the most and write on the post it what is their opinion about the photo. After doing the gallery walk the students are asking to fill in the  See, think and wonder visual thinking tools based on the photo that they chose.

This tuning in activity is just an opening of our unit, with more observation and discussion to come, it will be an interesting topic to talk about.
