How We Express Ourselves

An inquiry into the ways in which we discover and express ideas, feelings nature, culture, beliefs and values; the ways in which we reflect on, extend and enjoy our creativity; our appreciation of the aesthetic.

WALT :  Create a  mixed media paper about our cultural differences

WILF :

Music 

Concept:  Function

WALT:  Students are going to learn how to play pianika

WILF:

  • Students know how to play C major scale in pianika
  • Students can play song with pianika 

 

English

The students will start to explore the basic elements of drama; scene, plot, settings, characters, problem-resolutions, kinds of feelings the play evokes (for each student).

To develop the students’ presentation skills in a play, let the students reenact the real life situations. 

 

Physical Education (PE)

WALT:  Discover and express ideas and enjoy creativity through movements (Dance).

WILF:

  • Creating simple movement for warming up activities.
  • Work in group to create simple movement/activity through the games.
  • Creating and playing games
