Within these two weeks, Primary students were having Literacy Expo. Grade 1 students were having various activity during Literacy Expo. On Monday, 15 October 2018, we made puppet. It was an interesting activity for grade 1 students as they experienced by themselves how to create puppet using the provided things.

While on Tuesday and Thursday, 16 and 18 October 2018, the students were having silent reading. There were two activities in silent reading, the first story was in English with the title “What’s That Noise?” and another story was “Kecurangan Si Tikus” in Bahasa Indonesia.

Another activity that was involved either at school and at home was Caught in Reading. The teachers took photos of the students while they were reading at school. Meanwhile the parents also did a reading session with their child at home.

Grade 1 were also having a story telling by leaders. At this time the students may wear pajamas while they were listening to the story.

On Friday, 26 October 2018, Grade 1 students were displaying the materials that they have made during Literacy Expo. On this day they also might wear the costume from their favourite story.
