Celebrating Lunar New Year in EY 1

This year’s Lunar New Year, EY 1 students had a cooking class with Vero Laoshi where they make chinese traditional dessert, sweet dumpling known as “Tang Yuan” or “Wedang Ronde”. Vero Laoshi explained the process in Mandarin and then the kids tried to make it by themselves. They had fun rolling the tang yuan balls. The dumplings were dyed bright colors and are served in a bowl of sweet ginger syrup. It was such a fun activity for the kids. 🙂
