Throughout this unit, the students will learn many things related to plants. At the beginning of this unit, the students strolled around to observe different types of plants in the neighborhood. They also had discussion about what plants can do, have, and need. In order to learn how to take care of plants, they will do an experiment on planting plants. Moreover, they will also create some meals which are made of vegetables and fruits. In the end, they will create a poster that shows their understanding towards the importance of plants for earth’s sustainability and for their lives.
