On Wednesday, 4 April 2018, grade 1 students are visiting a post office. The purpose of this activity is to observe the system of sending the letter. As the letter is one of the forms of communication that we use to communicate and send a message to the receiver. This is in line with our Central idea; Ways and systems in which we communicate have varying degrees of effectiveness. 

The students are observing how the letters are being sorted out based on their regions/areas. Then the postman will deliver the letter to  based on the address. They also learn the things needed before we send a letter. Furthermore, they get the knowledge about the history of the stamp. The function of the stamp in a letter and the reason why the stamp is created.
